MDA provides kids from the Metro New York area with the opportunity to attend a free summer camp, offering a wide range of activities designed for children who have limited mobility or use wheelchairs. MDA-sponsored summer camp is a special place where children with muscular dystrophy and related diseases can experience an unforgettable week where barriers don't exist. Campers call MDA summer camp "the best week of the year" because it's the time when children develop lifelong friendships and build self-confidence.
